Oh my my! A spectacular 18mm round, genuine natural Ametrine, a rare find. These larger gemstones require a very large gemstone specimens before it gets faceted and labor intensive. This 30 CTW gemstone was hand selected for its high quality and size, then a custom made setting is crafted for this special gem. Accented with inset genuine Blue Topaz too. You seldom see larger gemstones at your jeweler because they can’t be mass produced and the profit margin is small. Not here, I love the big, bad boy gemstones and most of my curated selections are one of a kinds from the gemologist bench. Notice the many prongs for this nice deep stone in its princess setting, secure and gorgeous. Set in .925 sterling silver with a Rhodium finish for beauty and durability. Most full service jewelers are equipped to do professional ring sizing or offer ring guards at affordable pricing. Jewelers vary in the services they offer, most jewelers have accreditation in gemstones, look for a professional jeweler that is GIA certified not just a retail jewelry store with sales people working on commission. Care of your gemstone jewelry is key to being a good steward of your treasures. Never expose your jewelers to detergents, chlorine and other chemicals. Do polish gently with a soft cloth, use care when going to the beach, most jewelry is lost there due to slippery sunscreens and water. Do get the prongs on your jewelry checked semi annually if you wear them a lot as some will inadvertently tangle their rings or necklaces on fabrics and knits.
